Riu Resorts in Mexico
Cancun is located in the state of Quintana Roo, at the north-eastern tip of the Yucatan peninsula. During the 70's it became an exclusive tourist destination, after the construction of the first hotels.
Cancun is divided into two very distinct areas: the hotel area, an island separated from the mainland, communicated by two bridges in the North and the South. In the interior is the lagoon called Nichupté.

Cabo San Lucas
This area, between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, lies on the tip of the Baja California peninsula. San José del Cabo, the capital, founded in 1730, offers visitors a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars, discotheques and hotels.
The tip of the peninsula is known as "the end of the earth" by local inhabitants, and from it one can contemplate the exuberant mountains, the desert and the long beaches of white sand.

Mazatlan
